Fast, fun, philanthropic networking with a higher purpose.

One hour.
One hundred dollars.
One nonprofit funded.

Women gathering four times a year across Pennsylvania and Chicago, with more cities to come. We pool our donations, hear from nonprofits serving women and girls, and vote on where the money goes. One hundred percent of every donation goes directly to the winning nonprofit.

More than $1 million in giving. And counting.

Given by women who showed up, in person or by proxy.

The Milestone

A hundred dollars
at a time.

The million did not come from one large donor. It came from women who each gave one hundred dollars, four times a year, and kept showing up, in person or by proxy.

“I like to say it's our first million. Stay tuned.”

Where It Goes

One hundred dollars, somewhere real.

Every quarter, one room of women funds one nonprofit. Here is what that has looked like.

Our Chapter Leaders

Every room has a woman behind it.

Every chapter is led by a volunteer. She finds the venue, welcomes the guests, greets the nonprofits, and makes sure the check gets where it belongs.

Nine chapters. Nine women. One mission.

Our Mission

“Creating space for women who have more in their lives to take action on behalf of women who have less.

Less is never only about money. It means less resources, less opportunity, fewer connections, less access to hospitals, clinics, or clean water, and fewer laws that protect women.

Debra Dion Krischke, founder of Inspired Women Paying It Forward
How We Started

One woman. One email.

In April 2015, founder Debra Dion Krischke sent one email to her mailing list and asked women to meet her at a hotel in Cranberry. About twenty came. They raised $1,700 that night.

Everything you see here grew from that room.

How It Works

We gather. We give.
We respect your time.

Four gatherings a year. Two quarters dedicated to local nonprofits, two focused on global giving. One hundred percent of every donation goes directly to the winning nonprofit.

01

We gather

Once a quarter, for about an hour. Members, guests, and nonprofits serving women and girls, all in one room.

02

Three nominations are drawn

Three nominations are pulled from the hat and have five minutes each to say who they serve and how our funding would help. No slides required, just speaking from the heart.

03

The room decides

Members vote. The winning nonprofit receives one hundred percent of what the room gave that night.

Two Quarters a Year

April & October

Two Quarters a Year
Global

“What can I offer that's comparable to the abundance I enjoy?”

Rasa Healing

Debra heard that question during a Rasa Healing reading several years after Inspired Women began, and put it in her signature that same day. It is the perfect question, because everyone wants to believe they can make a difference. This network exists to hand them the opportunity.

A woman you may never meet may have a better future because of a decision made right here.
